The Opportunity – Marketing Operations Manager (Remote - USA / CANADA)

We are looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate possesses an in-depth lead management and analytical background, has worked closely with marketing and sales teams on lead generation and follow-up, and has experience monitoring and improving the quality of leads.

In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring smooth and on-time execution of marketing campaigns and providing feedback to stakeholders on what is working and what is not. You’ll also oversee a range of tracking and reporting and drive strategic process enhancements that focus on improving the handoff of leads to sales. In addition, the role will improve enablement of leads for sales, identify opportunities to improve lead routing logic, and work across stakeholders to ensure leads are being assigned and actioned. You will monitor data hygiene, the status of leads, and identify process improvements across marketing and sales.

This is a rare opportunity to help build the marketing operations function at a company experiencing hypergrowth, and we’re looking for a highly motivated individual who is ready to roll up their sleeves and help transform the entire entertainment sector!

What you'll Do:

  • Work with the Integrated Marketing team in developing marketing automation strategies to support lead and opportunity goals, including continually modifying and adjusting those strategies based on results
  • Be a key builder of the demand engine, defining and maintaining systems for tracking, attribution, reporting, campaign performance and ABM
  • Own and oversee the full martech stack and automation solutions (Marketo and Salesforce) to support core growth marketing activities
  • Implement and optimize campaign tracking and measurement to ensure comprehensive and accurate attribution of all marketing touchpoints across online (i.e., emails, paid media, webinars, website, etc) and offline (i.e., events) activities
  • Oversee the marketing database and segmentation strategy and ensure data quality
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure a collaborative, thoughtful, strategic, and customer-centric approach to ops decisions and prioritization
  • Develop strategy for consistent metrics, reporting, testing, analysis, and forecasting to support marketing decision making and improve understanding of marketing performance
  • Build and manage detailed dashboards that report on traffic, conversion, velocity, opportunities, marketing-sourced revenue, and ROI on a campaign, channel, and tactical level
  • Define and ensure internal compliance with campaign ops tracking processes including UTM parameters, SFDC campaigns, and tracking URLs
  • Support GDPR/CCPA compliance and handling of Personal Identifiable Information
  • Actively participate in ongoing review discussions to provide input into opportunities for optimization

What you'll Have:

  • 5+ years marketing automation experience, specifically with email/CRM, data, or personalization
  • Proficiency in email marketing and marketing automation technology – specifically Marketo; experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Salesforce and Marketo certification preferred)
  • An excellent understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics such as lead generation, nurture campaigns, lead score, deliverability, and sender reputation
  • Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data through A/B testing and email optimization
  • Strong ability to work in a collaborative, supportive way across the organization but also comfortable working independently
  • Ability to synthesize data, make data-driven decisions and balance quantitative measurement with an intuition-driven bias to action
  • Detail oriented, well organized, and efficient with time management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
